We are Dan and Anita Pearson, and we have embarked on a new phase of our life this year. We have exchanged indoor "tied to a desk" type jobs for laid-back "outdoorsy" type jobs. Our first job is in Lawrence, Kansas, at the Clinton State Park. We've exchanged jobs working 6-days per week for jobs working 2-days per week. The jobs are not hard; in fact, they are fairly entertaining. We work at the entrance of the park selling annual park passes, day passes and fishing licenses. We meet people from all over - the furthest away Alaska so far. It's really fun talking to them. We'll be here until sometime in the Fall and then we will hopefully move somewhere South (warm) for the Winter.
