The Beginning of On the Road : Well, here we are - starting a new phase in our lives. We did our practice by living in our 5th wheel since around the middle of October. We came to the conclusion that we can do this and no one will end up murdered. So, after many repairs and problems - too many to go into right now - Dan bought another 5th wheel. It is 5 feet longer and 6 years newer than the trial one. We have arrived at our first work camper job and are liking it so far. Of course, we've only worked one day. We got Easter off and took that opportunity to dash back to Oklahoma to pick up the new house. Monday was spent picking up the house and driving back to Lawrence, Kansas. Clinton State Park is still wintery looking. The trees are very slowly starting to bud. Hopefully by the end of another week, we will see green leaves. The pictures were taken on Monday March 24, 2008. Enjoy them and let me know how you like them. The next set of pics will be of the park here.

Clinton State Park : Located in Lawrence, Kansas, which is in the northeastern corner of the state, the park is really pretty - lots of trees! The park is at the edge of the town of Lawrence, so we don't feel totally isolated here. Here are pictures taken of our current "home". The first pictures were taken the end of December when we came to check out the place. The rest were taken after March 19, when we made the genuine move to the Clinton State Park. Enjoy!
