A New Place : The first of the "side trips" that we've taken in South Texas was to the beach at South Padre Island. The weather that day was not the best as it was a rather misty, rainy day with only occasional sun. We hope to make another trip there with our pop-up camper and spend several nights. Providing the weather cooperates, of course.

Side Trips : We've taken several side trips to see the state we are visiting. This state is full of very interesting towns that have lots of history. It has been a lot of fun to see these places in person.
